MEET THE STAFf

Fuzzy Buddy's is even fun for the staff!  We have a low staff turnover rate, which means we have experienced people in the playroom.  Best of all, your dog can establish a long term relationship with us!

Dana
Dana is the owner of Fuzzy Buddy's, fulfilling a childhood dream she didn't even know she had!  Her dog Mango inspired her to throw aside her life as an artist and devote her life to the dogs back in January 2000.  She established City Critters, a dog walking and training service.  She took over ownership of Fuzzy Buddy's in September 2005.  She is obsessively interested in dog training and how dogs learn. She loves reading about dogs, going to seminars to learn more about dogs, playing with dogs and training dogs. She is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer, and teaches dog training classes at Fuzzy Buddy's. She shares her life with Mango the Lab mix and Tigger the Border Collie/Rottie mix.

Sara
Sara has been at Fuzzy Buddy's since July 2003, and she learns something new every day that she comes to work. Dogs are her life, and it is rare to find her without at least one by her side. She lives with her own two dogs, Romie, a Rottweiler/St. Bernard mix, and Tucker, a Border Collie mix. Her passions include pet training, pet nutrition, and pet sitting, and she is working toward becoming a Certified Pet Dog Trainer. She is always on the lookout for new information to enrich her knowledge of dogs and dog behavior. Her favorite thing about working with dogs is the opportunity to watch them problem solve their way to a goal, whether it is getting the ball thrown, finding their way to a toy that rolled under a couch, or discovering the quickest way to get a treat. Above all, she enjoys watching dogs enjoy themselves.

Viva
Hi, my name is Viva. I am a very fortunate and loving parent of Puppet, a six year old terrier mix. I grew up in rural Virginia on a farm with a whole congregation of animals. I have always had a passion for animals and a particular bond with those of canine descent. It has been such a joy to work with the dogs at Fuzzy Buddy's, and I have worked here since October 2005. I am happy to provide such a positive service to dogs and owners alike. I also have my own dog walking and pet sitting service on the side, Lucky Dogs Dog Walking. I am interested in dog communication and positive training. Thanks for your interest in Fuzzy Buddy's and I hope to see yours there soon!

Kaoru
Kaoru was born and grew up in Japan with a family dog named Cosmo, a Shiba Inu mix, and has always loved being around dogs. She came to the United States in 1996. After having lived in San Francisco for several years, she moved to Seattle in the spring of 2005 with her husband and his furry friend, Scruffy, a Husky mix. She now also lives with their second dog, Jewel, an American Eskimo dog they adopted from a local shelter. She has been working at Fuzzy Buddy's since June, 2006. She enjoys observing how the dogs interact with each other and is learning a lot from them every day. She is interested in positive training, dog
nutrition and holistic pet care. You can also catch her volunteering
at Seattle Animal Shelter on Sundays. Her life-time passion is to help the orphan animals find new permanent homes!

Chris
Chris comes to us by way of Atlanta and Eugene.  He has years of pet care experience behind him working at a pet store and another dog daycare.  He is especially interested in pet nutrition.  He shares his life with Buttercup, a shepherd mix.  He has been working at Fuzzy Buddy's since June 2006.
