Based on more than three decades of results with over
1000 practitioners worldwide, TTouch®
provides a
powerful set of tools and tech niques that improve an
animal’s health, behavior, and performance. In addition, it
can deepen the relationship between animals and
their
people.
TTouch® complements veterinary care and
dog training. This workshop will give you the knowledge
necessary to immediately use TTouch® on your own
dog to help with behavior and health-related issues.

SeattleTTouch.com and TTouch.com.
In this workshop, specifically focused on dogs and their
guardians, you will be introduced to tools and techniques to
reduce stress in your dog, improve performance, and enhance
health. We will be focusing on TTouch® bodywork,
wraps, movement, and a brief overview of TTouch® leading
techniques. Using these techniques, TTouch®
addresses common problems such as:
-
arthritis and other age-related issues
-
fears, such as thunder and fireworks
-
recovery from injuries
-
lack of focus
-
lack of confidence
-
over-reactivity
-
timidity
-
performance work, such as agility
-
pulling on leash
-
inappropriate barking
You may attend with or without your dog. Please bring an
x-pen or crate and a blanket or mat for your dog. All
participating dogs must be able to rest quietly for the
majority of the seminar.
The combination of TTouch® movement exercises and
bodywork improves concentration, coordination, behavior, and
athletic ability in many animals and is used widely around
the world by trainers, pet owners, and veterinarians.
About the Seminar Speaker:
Lori Stevens is a Guild Certified Tellington TTouch® Practitioner
for companion animals (dogs, cats, birds, etc.). She is also
certified in Small Animal Rehabilitation Massage. She
regularly attends workshops
and conferences to expand her
understanding of animals, their behaviors, their health, and
how they learn. She has an established companion animal
practice in Seattle which offers private sessions and
workshops. Her experience and approach are holistic and one
of respect for animals as teachers. Lori and her previous
dog, Emmy worked as a therapy dog/handler team and trained
in agility. It was Emmy who led Lori to TTouch® and
positive training. Lori's current dog Cassie, an Australian Shepherd adopted at
two years old, is reactive to other dogs and environmental
changes. Lori has been successfully using positive methods,
including TTouch®, to help Cassie learn how to
adjust to new situations.
